Probably my boyfriends #1 favorite place either location , but 8th street over foothills if we happen to be in town... it's just cozier

Food was good. But ceiling fans blowing napkins off the table. Very cold, no heat inside. I'll go back when the temperature is normal. About froze in there.

In all honesty the food was disgusting no flavor not good Mexican food at all. Can food taste better than what was served.The waitress was incredibly rude when we asked questions regarding the different types of dishes, and kept ignoring our table.

They have some of the best Mexican food in town. This place isn't about the location or the ambiance. It is purely just really good food at a good price. Sometimes it's completely empty at dinner time, but you still get good food. They aren't always the most attentive either, but we go a lot because we love the food. They are currently undergoing renovations so maybe it will have a different feel, im just hoping the menu isnt being adjusted as well.

Food wasn't that good, I had carne asada tacos and the meat was old, you can tell they gave me the last of the pot, tasted like crunchy fat, also the rice had no flavor, too plain, maybe other food is better, not sure if I'll go again, just being honest

Delicious. This close to the border, I expected it to be good, and it met my expectations. I had tacos Al pastor and I could only eat two and was full. My wife had the carnitas plate. Tiny bit dry, but still quite good. The Salsa was good, and they brought me spicier salsa on request. The flour tortillas tasted homemade. I wish the chips did too. Will definitely be going back next trip to Yuma.

It's a good little hidden place to go eat. It's has a comfortable home feel to it. Since it's a home converted into a restaurant it seems. They have good afford able prices and you get a lot food vs other Mexican restaurants. If your on a budget and want a decent meal. This is a place to come and check out. You can't go wrong

Go there. Wonderful, fresh, delicious food, sweet people. Did I mention wonderful food? We will definitely go back the next time we are in Yuma.

Best Mexican restaurant in 8th street!!!! DELICIOUS, QUICK, FRIENDLY AND CHEAP! 😍 I loved it!! The food was all DELICIOUS, I got a quesadilla de carne asada and was very big just for 6 dlls! I ate half of it because I got so full! Beans, rice and salsa were in perfect point and veeery good, corn chips were homemade or something because they were delicious! The Waitress very polite and friendly, our food was ready very fast! Their menu is full of options! French fries, coffee pancakes, pozole, birria, seafood, fresh water, wine and all kind of drinks, Absolutely very complete and really good prices!! I Absolutely will be here again, Congratulations to the owners!!

Had the Pepe's Special and it was delicious slow cooked beef if a flavorful sauce that I wish I could replicate!

I got a caldo de res. No vegetables but potatoe and carrots ans the Potatoe was nasty three pieces of meat and waitress looked mad didn't like it. Sorry first and las time going there.

The food here is awesome. The prices are reasonable enough that ppl on a budget like mine can have the comfort of good, authentic home cooked Mexican food once in a while. Their burritos alone have cured any sorrows I may have had. A true find.

fire AF! quality plus price cant beat it, daily lunch specials, large portions.pepsi products, beer..try the tacos Dorados dinner plate or the pepe special dinner plate, carne en su jugo all time favorite if you love beans this right here is the way to go...

Loved the food, tastes like home cooking, and prices are very reasonable! Highly recommend it for good mexican food and we had a great waitress! Place is also good for kids. They had a tv on in another section with a kid movie playing, not loud, just right where it kept the kids attention. It looks small on the outside but roomy inside. The only thing was I ordered a #11 with a folded taco and a tamale and they were out. It wasn't a bad thing because I figured must be that good they are out. I just got another folded taco. Food was served quickly. I am excited to try breakfast here too.

I like this place. Really good food and one of the few Mexican restaurants in town that hasn't toned down their salsa for the snowbirds.

Excellent food and clean place! Waitress was super friendly and definitely made us feel comfortable there and like we weren't someone she was trying to shoo out the door. I recommend it and I plan to go back!

Always love the breakfast burritos here. They never disappoint and always have friendly service. Also there's a really nice cat that hangs out outside.

Hadn't been to Manjares in quite a while and was disappointed in the quality of food and level of service on this trip. Went for breakfast and posole meat was mostly fat hardly any edible meat and everyone's breakfast was cold. Cold beans? Yuck. Service was almost non existent and ended up paying full price for all the meals even though waitress knew we were disappointed.

One of Yuma's hidden gems. Consistently good food and service. My favorites include chicken fajitas, pepes special and carne en su jugo (pictured).

It was good I had enchilada dinner. And a margarita on ice it was very good.

The manjares breakfast special is the bomb! Posole and menudo are the best!

This place is modest but the food you get is fantastic. Good size portions and someone who knows how to cook Mexican food! Their Al pastor is very, very good and their carne asada actually has flavor, and it's wonderful. Recommend this place 100 percent. Great service as well.

Would go back anytime I'm in the area. I had potato flautas and fish tacos. Amazing!!! The fish was cooked to perfection. The flautas were so good and something I hadn't had before. The margaritas were 2 for 1. This is just a house converted into a restaurant so not super big, but fabulous.

The food was extremely bland, along with horrible customer service. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Not authentic what so ever.

THE BEST PLACE IN YUMA for the authentic Mexican food experience. I've been to them all and nothing compares to their food. Some come close but in my opinion in the all in all situation, they have more foods that are great. Don't trust my work, just give them a try, you wont regret it.

The worst Mexican restaurant I’ve ever tasted, and the rudest waitress ever. If your hungry go somewhere else cause it’s not what the reviews are showing it’s quite the opposite, disgusting.

I very much enjoyed the food and customer service, excellent location close to my home. The employees are always super friendly. Will visit here again.
